Sourcing and carefully vetting candidates

Using our network and experience, we identify experienced nannies and private household staff who meet your specific brief.

Each candidate is personally screened and interviewed by Absolute Childcare before their details are introduced to you. In a competitive market, this enables us to move efficiently while still maintaining high standards at the initial stage.

We only ever shortlist candidates we would feel confident placing in our own homes.

Understanding your household

Every family’s requirements are different, which is why we take time to explore the details right from the start. We’ll discuss your home, your routine, and the type of support you need.

We take time to understand not only the role itself, but the personalities, values, and practical considerations that will shape a successful placement.

This early stage ensures we search for the right fit from the start.

Interviews, trials, and selection

Once you have chosen the right person, we begin the full referencing and vetting process. Documentation and references are requested, and we complete all the necessary checks.

We arrange and manage interviews and trial days on your behalf, guiding you through each stage and offering honest, practical advice along the way.

We also offer advice on salaries, contracts, and current market expectations. Supporting you with offer letters, employment paperwork, and payroll setup through trusted partners.

Final decisions always rest with you. Our role is simply to guide and reassure you, making the process as straightforward as possible.

Peace of mind as standard

There is no fee unless we make a successful placement.

For additional reassurance, we offer an eight-week replacement guarantee. In the unlikely event that a placement does not work out, we will carry out a replacement search at no extra cost.
